Meeting Mama Africa by andreshanti Meeting Mama Africa by andreshanti
First comic strip about 2010 World Cup.

Here is Brazil arriving in Africa, remembering those good old days when he and Mama Africa lived together as one.
In fact that period was the Pangaea [the supercontinent in the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras, before the component continents were separated], and one of the proofs that it existed is that Brazil's east coast matches Africa's west coast perfectly.

Australia was the first team to arrive in Africa for the World Cup.
The reason Brazil is pissed off with Australia is because Australia once was also a part of Africa, and their soccer uniforms are the same colors.
Back in 1993, when Madonna's Girlie Show was broadcasted in Brazil, everybody thought that the show was in São Paulo, but it was in Sidney actually.

Fossiles found in Africa were found in Australia too.
That's why Mama Africa loves him.

The most fun for me was linking the Pangaea Era to the 2010 World Cup

It's always great to see a Brazilian who acknowledges his African blood. Seems to be a rarity these days...

I think the whole world must respect and help African continent after all the exploitation and human abuse.

Encontraram o "respaldo científico" pra justificar o preconceito.

At very least, actually send a representative in a specific field from other countries, to act as an adviser for those African nations that are working hard to recover.

People just don't wanna see what is left from countries like Ethiopia, Sommalia, Sierra Leone, Malawi.

They wanna be happy and feel like everything is ok, cause South Africa can host a World Soccer Championship with minimal violence impact. They just don't wanna see the big picture.

Yes I agree. Everything is FAR from "ok". South Africa is just one country and there are 52 more, with A LOT that are doing badly.

Thankfully Gabon has been doing really, really well for a while now; and Nigeria has been sky-rocketing insanely fast lately.
(Thanks to great Presidents like Mr. Fashola! :w00t:)

I think this is the beginning for an African self recover.

South America began recovering itself from 19th and 20th crisis a few years ago.
During the 90's we actually thought Argentina would come to an end.

I hope African countries find a way to speak up for themselves too.

As much as I hope Africa recovers, I'm also rooting for South America as well. Both continents have been through a lot of hardships, and seem to be slowly, like at a snail's pace, returning to their natural states. Which I'll take, because slow is better than nothing!

I think South America now has men showing their opinions and not being so afraid of retaliation. Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela are three of them, although I might say I often disagree with the decisions made. At one moment in time Cuba was very punished for standing against America, but now we can demonstrate that South America has the right to have opinions two, like supporting Iran.
