Description
This morning I found out that today Argentina (and Google!) is celebrating Jorge Luis Borges' 112 birthday.
He's one of my favorite authors and I've been thinking of paying a tribute to him all day long.
So... this is just a quick sketch, an attempt to portrait a scene from my favorite Borges short story: The House of Asterion.
There was a time I can say I knew nearly the whole story by heart and I think EVERYBODY must read it. No one gets to be the same person after reading it. It's really good and very surprising, like many other works of Borges.
I'm not pretty confident with the way it came out.
I'd like Theseus to be more surprised with the end of his battle, and Ariadne's head reminds me a lot of the lame angle I used so MANY times in my comics back in the 90's.
But this was all I could get in order not to pass the day of his birthday.
