Giving away the leftovers

Third and final comic strip about the Americas colonization period and second time I feature Humon's characters.

This time European countries rush to get what's left from the Americas.
Russia got Alaska. Sweden got New Sweden, Saint Barthélemy and Guadeloupe.
Denmark got the Danish West Indies and Greenland.
Netherlands a part of Brazil, the Dutch Guiana (now Guyana and Suriname), New Netherland, Tobago and the Virgin Islands.
Even the Duchy of Courland got New Courland - Courland was the smallest nation to settle in America.

Italy wasn't unified at that time and couldn't settle any American land.

The Americas were discovered in 1942 and in 1948 Portugal set foot on Goa, starting exploitation on a new land.
